Earlier on Monday, the Vatican and Egypt’s Al-Azhar mosque and university had signed a document regarding the fighting against extremism.
The signing took place in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Pope Francis to the Arabian peninsula, a visit that is considered to be a historical one; that attempts at outreaching Muslims on his behalf.
The Pope is the first leader of the world’s 1.3 billion Catholics to visit the Arabian Peninsula, and his visit also included the attending of an interfaith meeting in the UAE.
Today, the country expects its largest public gathering ever, that includes an open-air mass for 135,000 of the Muslim country’s million Catholic residents.
Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed expressed his delight in meeting the pontiff and described Abu Dhabi as the ‘homeland of tolerance”.
He also tweeted, “We discussed enhancing cooperation, consolidating dialogue, tolerance, human coexistence and important initiatives to achieve peace, stability and development for peoples and societies.”

Both the ones born here, who are so proud of their heritage, and those who are recent transplants, bringing with them their own values and traditions, contribute to writing the future story of the city. My time in Dubai was beyond anything I expected and there’s still so much more to see.”
“The variety Dubai gave me was perfect. I went from riding horses at sunrise to watching the sunset from 150 meters in the sky. I can’t wait to bring my boys here to continue the adventure.” Zoe Saldana says in her video.
While Kate Hudson said in a statement, “honestly, I was so grateful for the hospitality I received. I spent a lot of time exploring the winding streets of Old Dubai.”
“It’s incredible to find such a vibrant art and music community in the heart of such a modern, futuristic city – which is what most people think Dubai is. But really, the friendliness of the people is what made my visit amazing, and it’s why I’ll come back.” She added.
We can’t wait to see the rest of the campaign, especially with those teasers showing potential and looking promising.
