Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Zoe Saldana, all of these Hollywood giants have been featured in the latest campaign video of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM) and the teasing videos look epic!
Three teasers have launched with the title A Story Takes Flight on Youtube, showing the leading ladies Gwyneth, Kate and Zoe exploring the Old Town of Dubai all the way to its desert.
“One of my favorite parts of traveling is to truly connect with a city, its people and the local culture,” says Gwyneth Paltrow, “Dubai is special because it’s a melting pot. Both the ones born here, who are so proud of their heritage, and those who are recent transplants, bringing with them their own values and traditions, contribute to writing the future story of the city. My time in Dubai was beyond anything I expected and there’s still so much more to see.”
“The variety Dubai gave me was perfect. I went from riding horses at sunrise to watching the sunset from 150 meters in the sky. I can’t wait to bring my boys here to continue the adventure.” Zoe Saldana says in her video.
While Kate Hudson said in a statement, “honestly, I was so grateful for the hospitality I received. I spent a lot of time exploring the winding streets of Old Dubai.”
“It’s incredible to find such a vibrant art and music community in the heart of such a modern, futuristic city – which is what most people think Dubai is. But really, the friendliness of the people is what made my visit amazing, and it’s why I’ll come back.” She added.
We can’t wait to see the rest of the campaign, especially with those teasers showing potential and looking promising.

UAE Announced the Relaxing of Islamic laws to Promote Personal Freedoms

The United Arab Emirates announced on Saturday a massive overhaul of the country’s Islamic personal laws, which will allow unmarried couples to cohabitate and loosen the restrictions on alcohol and more.
This aims at broadening personal freedoms as the country is positioning itself as a Westernized destination for tourists. These reforms will boost the country’s economic and “consolidate the UAE’s principles of tolerance,” said state-run WAM news agency.
These changes is also a reflection for the efforts of the Emirates’ rulers to keep up with the rapidly changing society at the UAE.
The amendment will allow for “cohabitation of unmarried couples,” which has been criminalized before in the UAE and in an attempt to “protect women’s rights,” the government will also get rid of the laws that defend “honor crimes,” a widely criticized tribal custom in which a male relative may evade prosecution for assaulting a woman seen as dishonoring a family.
What do you think of the UAE’s move in adapting with the current changes that the country is facing?
