Celebrations Around the Kingdom Mark a Happy Saudi National Day Indeed



Saudi’s 89th National Day is today and the green and white themed activities are taking over the social media as citizens of the Kingdom and other regions join in to celebrate such a memorable day.

Here is how people have been celebrating and commemorating National Day so far and no, Saudi Arabia isn’t celebrating alone!

1. Airport celebrations in Dubai

Dubai International Airport wanted to make Saudis, who come to Dubai to celebrate the long weekend, welcome and special and so here is how they welcomed the arrival of Saudi nationals.

The arrivals terminal were decorated in green and white as Saudis were greeted with little gifts and souvenirs.


2. Aramco’s Special Video

Saudi Aramco, the Kingdom’s national petroleum and natural gas company, produced an ad specially dedicated to celebrate the day and even with its recent release, the clip earned millions of views.

The video showcases the Kingdom’s past achievements and the glorious future Saudi Arabia expects, through a boy who makes his way around the country.

3. Dazzling fireworks

What’s even a celebration without the usual dazzling shows of fireworks lighting up the skies of the Kingdom? Even though the main fireworks were scheduled to take place in Jeddah and Riyadh tonight, other smaller displays took place in different locations across the country.

As for the main event in Jeddah, 700,000 fireworks are set to be fired from Al-Hamra Corniche.

4- Dubai Celebrations

If you happen to spending the holidays in Dubai then make sure to be around the Dubai Marina or JBR for the fireworks display over The Beach and Bluewaters, with an Ain Dubai backdrop.

Or head over to Dubai Festival City Mall where an ‘Imagine show’ is set to be turned into a fire, lasers and lights show, and will play Saudi music until Monday night.

We also can’t wait to see Burj Khalifa lit with the Saudi flag tonight! Along with a special Dubai Fountain rendition of the country’s national anthem.

5. Google

Look! Even Google celebrated the 89th Saudi National Day, with an animated doodle of the Kingdom’s distinctive green flag.

King Abdullah Economic City to Launch ‘World of Moments’ Winter Festival




The King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) has announced the launch of ‘World of Moments‘ winter festival on Friday which will include a number of activities for those looking to be entertained or simply relax.

The festival will launch on February 22, 2020 and will present visitors with an integrated modern environment, one where they can seek relaxation in or find the next big entertainment event.

The King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) is the largest privately new city in the entire world and the festival is just one way to promoting for the city, the program of entertainment activities will shed the light on the kind of quality one should expect to enjoy in the city starting with its pristine beaches to the green landscapes.

“KAEC is an attractive investment tourist destination on the coast of the Red Sea. This made it one of the economic pillars supporting the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 due to its effective contribution to quality of life and tourism, entertainment and investment development programs,” said KAEC’s chief executive officer, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Linjawy.

“In order to improve KAEC’s position as a modern residential destination, we are constantly working to innovate and enrich the experiences of the city’s residents so they can run unique lives,” he added.

Latino Star Maluma to Perform at Saudi’s ‘Diriyah Music Festival’




The Diriyah Music Festival revealed the first artist who will be joining the Diriyah Season and it is epic! The Latino star Maluma will stun fans on November 23rd at the Diriyah Circuit on the second day of the Diriyah E-Prix event.

The star will also be joined with the R&B/Pop singer Massari for one epic night, expected to keep your heart racing after the thrilling Formula E action.

Massari will be first on stage as a support act, and with his Middle Easter/ Western tunes, the audience will sure get their dancing feet ready for the big performance of Maluma.

Another mystery artist will be announced soon on November 22nd and organizers promise that the act will be one of the biggest-selling acts worldwide!

Reema Juffali: Saudi Arabia’s First Female Racer to Take Part in Diriyah Circuit




Women of Saudi Arabia have been proving their capabilities each and everyday ever since the Kingdom opened up so many ways for them to shine, and now a Saudi woman is about to hit yet another milestone.

Our heroine this time is 27 year-old Reema Juffali who is the first Saudi female racer to be competing at this year’s forthcoming international series. Juffali was the first Saudi female race licence holder who just competed in last Saturday’s TRD 86 Cup at Yas Marina Circuit.

Now, Juffali is about to make history this month by participating in the Diriyah Circuit, she will be competing along the official race for the Diriyah E Prix and will be acting as the VIP driver for the doubleheader-opening weekend taking place at the UNESCO World Heritage site

“I’ll be joining Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY as a VIP Driver for the upcoming support race to the fiaformulae in Diriyah. I’m really looking forward to racing on home soil for the first time.” Juffali expressed her excitement on her official Instagram page.

“To be the first Saudi woman to drive in an international race series back home is something that I never imagined…hopefully we’ll get a lot of girls and women to start thinking about racing, there’s no limit to the kind of career path that you want to take.” She said.
