5 Must-Try Westernized Oriental Desserts

Published

on

Even though people fast from food during Ramadan, that doesn’t seem to stop bakers from getting very creative with their desserts. It isn’t fair at times, because scrolling through pictures of delicious desserts, get us drooling before breakfast time.

Dessert shops get extra innovative, by mixing oriental desserts with western goods; thus giving you the best of both worlds!

Since Ramadan is all about gatherings and giving back, we present to you a list of places that you must pass by before a gathering or simply to reward yourself after a long day of fasting. These places offer various mouthwatering desserts, that you won’t be able to resist.

Preferably read the full thing after you break your fast!

1- Levochocolate

Their Ramadan new collection of trays & gifts with different flavors, colors and designs, are the ideal gift, because of their special Ramadan packaging, that will certainly stand out.
Our recommendation is for you to give their salted caramel pecan baqlawa a try, and if you’re visiting someone, then the Mubkhar chocolate tray is the obvious choice.
We said it before, Ramadan is all about innovative creations and you either go big or go home. Monreuxcafe offers you plenty of Ramadan goods, all beautifully wrapped and ready for you to pick up.
They have an exclusive Ramadan collection, and they all make the perfect combination between western and oriental goodies. Try their Pistachio Mafruka, Shairia Custard or Cream Brule Baklawa. Sounds odd, but certainly tasty!
If it’s a friends’ gathering, then my recommendation will be to go for one of their Ramadan boxes. Offering various kinds of goods, and presented in a cup.

Cheesecake Baqlawa

A good choice if you’re catering for a huge family gathering, they offer their goodies in small cups that can be placed on tables for people to grab easily. They all have mini tartes, but in an oriental way. Their prices are quite reasonable as well, and they will make the perfect set up for your gathering.
The Italian dessert with a Ramadan touch! Rigotta Konafa is a must try. The place is also providing a very special offer, a box that includes a number of desserts for a very good price. Another innovative creation is their Cannoli konafa! Yup, you read that correctly.
It is a blissful month indeed!
